Monster Hunter, HDLoader, DNAS Error 880

I was just wondering.. I have the store bought copy of Monster Hunter. I have a fat PS2. I do not have a mod-chip, but I do have Swap Magic v3.6, and the HDLoader Elf that I boot using Swap Magic. I have copied Monster Hunter to the HDD using HDL_Dump. And the game runs fine in offline mode, but I get a DNAS error 880 when I try to go online. I play most of my games off of the HDD, and am trying to get this one to work online to keep the strain off of my PS2 laser. This is one of the first PS2's. I have the original PS2 hard drive. What can I do to get this game past the DNAS 880 Error??
