Ok, so there are the new xbox360's out with the newer drives. Say i get the samsung fm=ms28, which is the easiest solution to modding my xbox- modchip or flashing? I'm just curious becasue i just ordered my xbox and am assuming that is what i should get. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ok, but how do i determine the version on my hitatchi drive. I got my xbox today and it says version 0059dj. Is that the type i have or what? Thanks. And does this mean i can still use the slax 2 to put my drive in mode b? Thanks for the help

You have a Hitachi 0059DJ? That's the same as mine. Take a read in this thread and it tells you everything you need to know.
