it was on the front page of AD, so i just wondering if anyone tried this yet...doesnt look too bad...and perhaps a good alternative to all the bloated burning apps

I have tried this and some other free burning apps but they all have their limitations and burning issues. Nothing great about them they just burn for free. I personally will stick with my Nero 6 install.

I used it because my regular burning program RecordNowMax wouldnt work in VISTA Home Premium OS. Unlike IMg Burn and classic img burn....the dvds I burned with Final Burn DID play in all my standalone dvd players..;) which is why I will use it from now on. It is the easiest to use burning program I have ever used (as easy as RecNowMax).

Final Burner does work well only from when i used it it can burn from hard drive to disc and not from disc to disc. I would stickk with Nero. But i tend to do it via the hdd with my imgburn program cause i cant be bothered trying finalburner again.

I burned a copy of one of my movies with it and it worked perfectly. I ripped my movie into a folder on my hdd and then burned it. I dont see why this shouldnt have worked for you, it did for me. It even works on my old pc which is ancient by todays standards.

In my opinion for burning a movie folder and using free software to do it, there is no better then ImgTool and ImgBurn.

I tried Final Burner yesterday to burn a CD of photos. That worked fine, but.....

Today my computer (Windows 2000 SP4) is NOT recognizing my CD-ROM drive at all: Getting the message "D:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function."

I have NEVER had trouble with this drive before. If ANYONE has any ideas (other than posted on Microsoft site) PLEASE respond. Thanks!
