At about the 80-90% mark it stops and i get error" cant read from :E/" E being my plextor dvd burner.
Any ideas?

First, make sure that your burner is using the latest firmware, if it's not, get the update here and install it.

It's possible that it's a copy protect error you're encountering, so instead of using shrink to rip with, try using DVDFab decrypter (free). You can use it to rip the whole disk or just the main flick to your hard drive, you can then use shrink to open the files created by DVDFab and proceed as you normally would using shrink.

Actually i used DVD Decrypter to strip it 1st then I was trying to shrink due to fact it was 7 gigs or so.ill give dvd fab a go and report back.
