I looked in my bios in my computer to turn on sata and turn off raid for my pci sata card - via 6421L - and i cant find it anywhere. Can anyone help me out with this? I'm about to flash my hitatch v59 drive and am assuming i need this to make it happen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I didn't know the via card worked with the hitachi. I heard of success though. But you dis-able the RAID on that card in the cards configuration utility when you boot the pc. Not in the "bios" but the card's "bios". Not sure if you can do it from within windows (device manager) and reboot but it's worth a try.
