You've got to be kidding. Perhaps I should have been more clear in that mail order sources would be acceptable answers to my request. I know for a fact you can get them for less than a buck.

LOL...I would never order blank media from a questionable site....no matter what the price. I've read of plenty of people who got burned ordering cheap media. An old rule that applies here is "you get what you pay for"....no doubt.

I bought some memorex dvd+r/4x for 29.99, for a 25 pack. That's a 1.20 each and I have 2 more packs on backorder/raincheck.

Ok fine, cheapest name brand/reliable media, etc. whatever. I was just looking for a good place to order from.

I have also ordered junk media for non critical data many many times, never had a problem.

Ritekg04s are a good buy if you have a pioneer 105 as they are guaranteed to burn 4x on that drive.
