I tried downgrading my ta-082 and I bricked it. I called gamestop and they are letting me have a new one since I just got it

Purchase a warranty for it. If you brick again they will switch it no questions asked ;)

dont be a hero. just use the easy downgrader. does all the work for you and less chance of a brick
