So.. my 30 day trial of Nero just ended.. so I can't backup the rest of my DVDs. Anyone have an alternative good program for burning DVDs? And a how-to on it?

Right.. but.. can DVD Decrypter burn DVDs to a DVD-R like Nero can? Thats what im trying to find. I used to use DVD Shrink to pretty much rip the DVD to my computer then Nero Burning ROM to burn it.. but now I cant do that.

Yeah.. but I don't see any DVD burner programs like Nero in that thread. Least not that I can see anyway. Would you just be able to give me a link to another program that can pretty much do the crap Nero does? Pretty much.. what ive been doing is using DVD Shrink to rip the Video TS and Audio TS folders to my computer.. now I just need an alternative way to burn them to my DVD-R..

Yes, i've been using it for years. pull up decrypter, in the top middle you'll mode, third option is write. works great.

Alright.. I got DVD Decrypter up.. I went to mode and set it to Write. But.. how do I add the Video TS and Audo TS folders to it? Or do I have to turn them into an iso first with Imgtool?

after you rip your dvd to hd, run that file through DVD Shrink. after shrink does its thing pull up decrypter go to write mode, click that file icon & click the shrink file you just processed.once you have that clicked, make sure you have a blank in your burner, then click the green arrow on the bottom left of decrypter & your there let er burn. make sure you delete your files after your movie has benn backed up, they take up an enormous amout of hd space,

What you need is ImgBurn. It's burning engine is updated from DVD_Decrypter and works well with today's newer DVD burners. It will burn VIDEO_TS folders with no problems.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

one thing to help you out is finding your shrink file for burning with decrypter. i've never done this the proper way but it works for me. to find the file i pull up the c drive & to make sure i have the right file is to hold my pointer over the file, if it says like 4.35 size, i know it if my shrunk file. the other file will say something like 7.35 size wise, this is not the one to use. make sure your using the right file (4.35). this is the one that dvdshrink has processed & will fit on your disc. hope i haven't confussed you more.

lol just edit it out bro :P and DVD Decrypter just rips to hard drive or makes an iso while AnyDVD kills decryption in th background as soon as you pop the dvd on the drive plus you have options to remove and keep certain stuff while thats being done in a matter of secs when you put a disc you just launch clonedvd2 and agani 3 clicks and it does all the work by it self i really dont see how DVD Decrypter is more easier /faster
on top right side of your post , it kinda looks like a letter and a pen
