V7 PS2 Matrix Infinity Chip

Hello all,

I recently installed my first MI chip with success. It plays backups, normal games, and region 1 movies. What I can not get it to do is play region 2 movies. It is my understanding that the chip was region free? I attempted to change the region in the BIOS and tried all 8 with the same result. It receive the error message of "TV system does not match". Do I need to check the DVD points? What are they if I do? Any suggestions would be helpfull. I also updated to BIOS to the most recent version successfully.

Press and hold at same time both buttons "triangle" and "circle", press "reset", and you get the MI menu, there chose the options you need.
I presume you didn´t did it of course!

Ya I tried that all ready. There were 8 regions it could be changed to. I tried all 8.
