Narrowed down my choices; what do yoy think?

The learning process is sometimes mind-boggling. I have in front of me printed sheets from all the model receivers I am considering. I have to of course pick just one.

Here we go
Yamaha RX V1600
Yamaha RX V2600
Yamaha RX V1700
Denon AVR 2807

They all do up converting to HDMI, which is the main thing I want. They all do interlacing....I think. All the yammys say they do, but theV1600 has in parenticies "(480i to 480p)" does that meant the others don't do this, or is the description just more detailed on this model? I don't want to be leaving myself short for future advances to My HD Theater.

So to wrap it up, other then watts, what are the major differences on all these models, and which do you like best.
