I have an xbox 360 and bought a xbox 360 wireless adapter . It doesn't seem to work with my router for some reason my router is a Linksys WRT54G V 2.2 i did everything put password in and all of that and it doesn't seem to connect anyone know the problem ? will my router work with the adapter ? or do i need to buy a new router if so which one is good ?

Yes, this router will work with the xbox 360 wireless adapter. I used it for a short time but switched to a dual band (A + G) Linksys because I added a second xbox 360. Both xbox 360's are on the A band and all other computer equipment operates on the G band. As for your problem, try reseting the router back to defaults. There should be a button on the back side.
