I have recently purchased a premod ps2 with the dms4 se lite. I have loaded toxic bios onto it sucessfully (atlease i think so) and my backup games will not play. I have used image burn to make copies onto sony DVD-R. I use the iso read and write method. I have also tried rebuilding them using cd dvd gen and iso buster. None of these methods are working for me. What am i doing wrong? Any help would be well appreciated.

1. what speed are the DVD's you use?
2. are you sure you created the flash disc correct and flashed the chip?

there can be a lot of factors to why games will not load.

Ok, I will tell you everything so far. I have a dms4 se lite premod and have flashed it with toxic bios. I loaded the toxic bios cd and it said to hit the x button to agree to flash the chip. I hit x and then within seconds it said to restart my ps2. I do so and then i take the toxic cd out.I use the iso read, iso write with dvd dycrypter/image burn. I use sony DVD-R,120 min, 4.7 GB. 1x-16x write speed. I have tried burning at 4x and 2x. Once i insert the dvd into my playstation, it comes up and says that i need to insert a playstation or playstation 2 formatted disk. I can dissable my modchip by holding in the square button so I believe the modchip was installed correctly.

sounds like it flashed correctly. I can only assume that it is installed right.
It may just be that either your burner has problems making good copies with those DVD's or your PS2 laser just doesn't like them.
here are some things to try.

1. see if there are any firmware updates available for your DVD burner. this will help with media compatibility and better burn jobs.
2. try burning them at 8X, i know this is fast but you are using 16X discs. I personally hate 16X and always stick with 8X
3. go to a local store and buy a small 3 pack of another good brand like verbatims and try those (8X DVD-R would be best, and no white top printable types!)
4. you could also try cleaning your PS2 laser, read a guide for proper way to do this.
5. do you have any friends who have the ability to play back up discs, if so you can try the disc on their system and see if it plays. If it does then it is not the burn job but your PS2 that is having problems either reading the disc, or with your modchip install
