What is the correct procedure for making a backup of a backup? When I put it in xbox backup creator or schtrom, it says something about game is visible and that it wont proceed.

use clone cd, open it up click the third box copy cd put the game in your drive and away you go

Have you successfully used this method before? I need to know if you have done it like you said for xbxo360 games or if you're saying this because you think it should work. Also, if this is how you do it, what is the point of the image file screen? Is it asking where to save the temp, or is it going to burn the already selected .iso/.dvd file? The reason I ask is because I made a previous backup and it says the directory that it's in but I dont want to reburn it obviously.

Click the 1st box and you can save the file any where you want and burn it from there. It'll make a dvd file and 7 files that look like RARs instead of one large image. Don't worry. Open the DVD file and it'll burn just fine and yes I've done this many times. You can use DVD Decrypter as well.
