PSX GAMES ON HDD???

Hello all. Just wondering if it's possible to install and boot PSX games off of the Hard Drive? I tried installing an PSX ISO into my HD using Winhiip, PS2 HD Handiness, HDL_DUMP, etc., but everytime I get into HDLoader menu, it's not there. I have Alundra 1, Castlevania, Omega Boost and lots of other rare games that will be hard to replace if games are damaged or lost. I want to avoid swap magic and modding my console and cogswap because the lens are getting old. If it's possible, how do you go about it? And what programs do you use? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

i dont think its possible hd loader is only for ps2 games you need to burn them in cds

if you have a psp now you can play ps1 games there are also emulators that you can use in your pc to play ps1 games
