Error with when converting PSX games to ISO using PopStation GUI

I get an usual error message when I open the PopStation GUI

I have put all the necessary files in the folder, but the problem still persists.

Download the dll file from here:
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvbvm60

Then extract the zip file and put the MSVBVM60.dll in the same folder as popstation.

Can you convert and play the psx files like an iso using dev hook? All I have is the up to date dev hook .52 with 3.03 firmware. I don't want to mess around with custom firmware.

Wouldn't making an ISO of a PSX game with Nero (or any other ISO making app) and placing it in the ISO folder on the PSP memory stick work? (Just a guess, not sure if it would work)

I mean if dev hook can play way more advance psp games it could prolly read ps1 iso's.

What you can do is download POPstation from psp-hacks and make an eboot and keys file. From there you should be able to play it on emulated 3.03 firmwire. (save it in a folder in the psp\game root of your memory stick.

I don't think DevHook supports converted PSX games, does it?

It should do because Devhook now emulates the new 3.03 firmwire which soposibily allows psx games to be run with needs of a keys file.
