Problem with Nero Ultra 7 Video Capture

When I try to capture video from my Sony TRV38 Digital video camera tape, the Nero software seems to capture about 370 frames, then resets and starts again. The video plays on my video cam screen, but freezes on the Nero screen. Only the last few seconds can then be played back on my Nero or Windows Media Player from the files that gets saved. The size of the file that gets saved appears to be about right, but not for the length of what is actually played.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks.
