hi all,

i have a couple questions, hope someone can help here
was not able to find specific answers in other threads.
ive been reading tuts for days..
surely an expert here can steer me straight..

Here's my setup:
Fat PSTWO mod v.7, network adapter w/ 120GB Seagate HDD,
Winhiip used to format HDD with PSTwo file system,
images copied to HDD using winhiip.
MC exploit created with CD-R using PS2Gen, burn at once,
(bootfiles used: ulaunch elf and hdloader)
Swap Magic 3.6 to install exploit
Booting with PSX disc, MC exploit, HD loader

NOW DONE - and works great!

-->> HERE is where i get stuck!!

I have another SLIM pstwo that i want to setup

lookin at USB hdd options
(since there is no space in the SLIM for internal hdd)

can I use the same HDD and just put in USB enclosure?
(the drive format is PS2).

Can I use the same mc and exploit on the fat ps2?
I read somewhere that after version 11 ps2 you could not run black psx discs for the MC exploit.

(just thinking if i can do that i wouldnt need magic keys for ps2 slim since i am not able to run swap magic without it)

also, is it safe to assume i will need usbadv elf file on the mc?
