I just wanted to tell everyone that I just became a computer owner/user and didn't/don't have A CLUE as how to do ANYTHING on it.

I have this new xp pro/mce pc and know how to watch a disc movie on it but I didn't know how to make a copy of anything .. That is until I stumbled across a post by ScubaPete!
I can't even tell you if it was an old post or a recent one.. I am just learning how to use google and that is where I found ScubaPete's post.

Well, if it isn't too late to make a long post shorter .. "ScubaPete .. I Love You"!

I burnt my first dvd thanks to your post!

(It was the LONG one about using dvdshrink and most especially the part on using Nero with dvdshrink!)

Due to health issues I too have not been on this site for a year or so.
I hope ScubaPete is on the mend as he was a big help to me when I first discovered this forum some two years ago.

Please count me to the number of people he helped out. If it wasn't for him (and a few from here) I would have never learned. I'd probably still trying to figure out how to back-up Bad Santa. Man I love that movie.
