@chocomog
if you use the reauthor on shrink you can remove all but the main movie. this will give you all the room you need.

being from the "old school", I have limited knowledge of that.
used in conjunction with dvdfab, it makes a formidable file conversion\enhancement tool.
but as forementioned, I am not the person to educate you on that subject.

VobBlanker removes bad cells warning etc.
so you really don't need both
you can use the ripper in AnyDVD also to remove bad cells and rip the file to your HD

VOBB also blanks (omits) whatever you don't want on a DVD while still retaining a functional DVD menu.
Yes, it's true that if you want to save space, you should just re-author and do only the main title, however, if you're into the special features (like I am), but you still want to save some space, blank some unwanted trash with the program and you'll have a good looking DVD.
Plenty of DVDs now (especially Sony DVDs) put an enormous amount of trailers (for other movies!), music videos, advertisements and other crap that I don't want on DVDs. Thus, I blank all that crap and keep the making-of featurettes or anything else that tickles my fancy.
And, yes, I do have AnyDVD. I don't use VOBB to decrypt movies; only to blank unwanted trash. AnyDVD is for removing the encryptions.
Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie

Yes, VobBlanker definitely can remove, blank and delete more junks than you can imagine. If you like to re-author, edit all your backups then VobBlanker is one awesome tool to have, not to mention it's totally FREE.

With a few clicks from VobBlanker, you can edit, strip/cut, blank or delete any scenes, vts, pgc, cells, etc. If you're the few like me (those that always modified their backups) and despise those useless "FBI Warnings, rating logos/screens, useless Previews, Extras, etc." and still want to have a fully functional Menu + Main Movie, then VobBlanker is the way to go.
And I believe it will also help to solve your looping issue and filter out other corrupted cells or unreferenced cells, etc.

Doesn't AnyDVD remove bad cells? And doesn't CloneDVD have the option to keep a functional menu with just the main movie?

Yes... AnyDVD will/can bypass the latest encrypted protections, etc. I may be wrong (since I don't use AnyDVD and CloneDVD), but I've heard that it's ripper is using an older version of FixVTS.
As for CloneDVD, I've heard a friend of mine saying that it will bypass the FBI Warnings, Extras, Previews, but he's not sure if it actually "blank/delete" them out completely. Again, don't quote me on that since I don't use CloneDVD -- so I may be wrong, but that's what I've heard only.

I would really love to know if this is true or not.

AnyDVD and DvDShrink/or AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 is all
you need...............
DvDShrink will get rid of all the junk you don't want
and do movie only/ as well as for CloneDvD2 will as
well get rid of what you don't want and do movie
only also.
AnyDvD/CloneDvD2 will also let you keep what you want
and is the best combo for the buck out there....
hands down............................

I bought AnyDVD and CloneDVD when the christmas promotion was on. I LOVE AnyDVD but did not use CLONE yet. Which one gives the best quality encoding? I usually do movie only, but that keep menu/main movie option sounds nice. I bought Clone because Shrink isn't updated anymore and I got a sweet deal for both :).

well a lot of people will say that DvDShrink/Nero gives
best quality (again its a opinion) but for myself...
i see no difference in quality between DvDShrink
and CloneDvD2 i use both of them. and watch them on
a 32 inch tv...
i don't use Nero main reason i would only want ReEncode
only if any. the program has so much/and is so big, not
needed.........
i have 0 complaints about AnyDvD/CloneDvD2/DvDShrink(still
works fine in combo with AnyDVD also)
