Modchip semi-fixed, DVDs still won't boot...

So, I fixed the chip, my PlayStation 2 logo shows up fine now, not all scribbly and messed up. Had to seperate the reset wire from all other wires. PS1 games boot, PS2 orig DVDs boot, DVDs boot, PS2 CD-R backups boot. Still won't boot my damn PS2 DVD-Rs. Can anyone tell me what the hell is wrong? My wires are generally a cluttered mess, all guides I've looked up for the past few days have only stated the R wire, is a timing wire, and needs to be seperated from all other wires, which, it is now, which fixed my glitchy PS2 logo, it's normal now. Is there ANY other wires, that need to be seperated? Also, I had to put tape on the chip (AV wouldn't work in general unless I did), but I'm not sure if there's double sided tape under it or not, or if its tape folded over. Anyway, you all know my problem, I think I've explained everything in every possible way now. Is there ANYONE, who can figure out what the hell is wrong with my PS2?

Is there ANY other thing I HAD to do, other than putting tape OVER the chip, and seperating the R wire from ALL other wires?

Anyone? Can anyone tell me what each wire does on the Magic V chip by chance, could isolate my problem.
