Hi, got my 360 pre modded has samsung ms28 drive with xtreme 4.1a
i want to put the new firmware on it but dont have the original firmware. Can i do it?
theres no problem with 4.1, i have friends still using even older versions of xtreme. no point in taking the box apart just to put a fw on it, when the present one works perfectly fine. wait till u get read errors then u'll have a reason =D.
hi, sorry to ask on someone elses thread, but how can i re flash a samsung without the original firmware? I have c**ked up a flash and now the console asks me to put the disk in a xbox 360 if i want to play the game!!!!

If you don't have your orig.bin file or at least your dvd key then you are screwed. This is the main reason why you guys need NOT buy a pre-modded console.
please in step by step terms and straight yes or no answers, can i flash to 5.2 from 4.2 without my original firmware. If yes how. I'v posted this question a few times now but people just skirt round the question. I know in an ideal world i should have bought a standard console and done it myself, i know this now, i didnt then. I'm in the situation im in, i'v tried buying an un modded ms 25 or ms 28 on ebay but they are pretty much non existant.
