I didnt see any other post so i guess ill start it off, if u havent heard xtreme 5.2 is out and from what im reading its got alot of fixes open tray error fixes being 1 of them. i'll be testing it today and ill let u know if goes. Im going to try to use XBM, but for the moment there is no f/w definition for 5.2.

just flashed my 360 with 5.2 using xbm seems to be working fine thus far.

was 42 but 5.2 is def worth opening ur 360 to reflash, while using 42 i had alot of open tray errors but with 52 it fixed al that.

yeah, i think with xtreme 4 and up u have to install the org f/w b4 flashing with another version.

u could probly use mtk flash and get ur current f/w, get ur drives hex codes form that, then manually paste them into the 5.2 f/w, and reflash it.

Can anybody tell were to get the Xbox 360 Xtreme firmware package from. I have been looking on the internet for ages but there has been no sign on were to get it. btw, I have a samsung drive.
