Welcome to the site hyden58. Glad you joined the AD club. It is a very nice site and very helpful. You will find allot of willing and helpful members.

As to your question with...

Those programs are perfectly fine and well known and recommended allot on the site. But you will also see allot of other members recommending other programs and other ways to backup DVDs.

Just know that there are allot of different programs out there to choose from and no 1 program is the best program to use. It depends on the user and how knowledgeable they are about DVD backups. Some like programs that are 1 click and easy to use and some like programs that will let you dig deep into the DVD and edit unwanted stuff out.

The best way to figure out what you like is try a little bit of everything and find out what works best for you. There are allot of great guides and information on the site for you to read. So start reading up and if you ever have a question feel free to ask. Plus feel free to join in on any other thread another member creates if you have something helpful to add.

In any case this is a great site and I am sure you will find yourself in no time helping other new members out that need help and information on how to backup their DVDs.
