GT4.VOL -ALL- file extractor?

OK guys, sorry if I posted in the wrong forum, but I think I picked an appropriate place.

Are there any programs out there somewhere that will extract -all- the files from the GT4.VOL file? Or more specifically the .ads (bgm/music) files. The best I can find is a movie-only extractor, which is great for flattenning but no good at all for ripping music. =]

I even tried GT3Vol.exe which... pretends to work... it extracts the files without 'error', but it seems to grab the files at the wrong offset... seems like I'm missing around the first 1-2 minutes worth of audio, which would only be the 'previews', which I would be fine with, but because the files are all offset wrong (ie part of one tune bleeds into another) MFAudio can't recognise them properly as .ads's, can play them as RAW but not without some stuttering.

I really can't believe in all this time since it's release that nobody has written a tool that can extract a gt4 (or gt4l1) vol file properly (maybe not specifically for my PAL/Aus release, but I just can't find anything at all)... I am hoping (probably in vain, bah) that my 10 hour google search could have been shortened considerably if I just posted here in the first place =]

I can't believe absolutely no one has released anything that rips the files out of gt4.vol... does everyone hate the music or something? =]

If I had any idea how gt3.vol worked/looked I'd hack away at this and write a tool myself. Don't suppose anyone shared that information? =]
