My Final Fantasy 8 image was made through Nero as an iso file. Converted to EBOOT through popstation using Hot Shot 2 as the base pbp. But the game only load up to the precaution screen and goes to a black screen. It didn't even make it to the playstation one logo.

Anyone have any suggestion?

some things to get ps1 games to work:
- make sure the eboot.pbp and keys.bin are in their own folder inside your "/PSP/GAME" folder
- i think ps1 games can only run using the 3.02 kernel so make sure your "/PSP/GAME" folder is set to use the 3.02 kernel (this option is found in the recovery menu somewhere, check the 3.02OE-B and 3.02OE-A readme files). if you don't have the GAME folder set to 3.02 then you'll need to make a folder called GAME302 to put your ps1 game folders in, from how i understand it. this didn't work for me so i just set the GAME folder to 3.02 and my ps1 games loaded fine from the there.
