i am trying to encode/reencode divx/xvid to a format that will work on my dvd player ie vcd/dvd-r/dvd+r i know how to convert avi to the above by using nero as it encodes themfirst but xvid/divx doesnt i had a look through some of the guides but cant find this i found how to convert to but not from

ok. Ive downloaded DVD2SVCD, and I have got tpmg as well, but still donw know how to do it, what is the easiest way to convert the Divx to SVCD, I tried just using Tmg beofre getting DVD2SVCD but it had no sound and ran very fast, please help
