i'm running 1.5 with devhook 46 still, so needless to say i haven't been messing with my psp in a while. can you run just about anything on 302oeb?

3.02 OE-B is a custom firmware made by Dark_Alex. It allows you to play psx games and iso/cso without devhook. It has the format of 3.02.I would recommend this better than devhook. It also has recovery mode that lets you restore back to firmware 1.5 if your psp bricks.

i guess my biggest concern isn't umd iso's, but other homebrew junk like mapping programs for gps. can i watch ripped movies off of my memory stick in 302oe?

All homebrew stuff would work unless you put it in the GAME_150. As long the movies are in mp4 format it will work. Use PSP Video to convert AVI files

All movies encoded with DivX works as long u have DivX codecs.

how does the recovery work? if i format my memory stick will i need to put something back on it for any reason? or can i put it on the psp while it's semi-bricked?
I actually can't fit the 3.02oeA installer with the recovery stuff on my 32mb stick. 250k short :(

The recovery is a screen that shows u options when you restart the computer and hold the r button. Even, you are bricked you go still go to usb mode... after that u can put the recovery file into your psp. Then run the recovery and will get back 1.5 firmware.

1 quick question can you install oe-a when you already have dark alex proof of concept on the psp or do you have to get rid of it

i have 302-oeb up and running and even have my Final Fantasy VII running on it. Nice work, Dark Alex! So I get how to put PSX games on my PSP.
My question is how do I run new PSP ISOs like Lumines II (for example). I have located the ISO for this game, now I just need to know the steps for running it on this new firmware. I thought the 302-oeb didn't require a bunch of extra things to do in order to run new PSP ISOs.
So more specifically, how do I go from having this Lumines II ISO to actually being able to play it on 302-oeb?
Any help is appreciated.

put it in the ISO folder in the root of your ms then on your xmb go to game and it will be there but the umd must be inside for this to work sadly the no umd ability is still not fully completed

how do people.
iv got 3.02 oe-b running fine on my psp.
iv had every iso/cso iv tried working spot on.
i have recently downloaded xflash v18 and have managed to change fonts but i cant find any info telling me exactly what else it can be used for.
can someone please help me?
also, i have irshell which i use for the ir remote. i would also apreciate some info on this app aswell as i have been trying to play iso/cso via usb or wifi. is this even possible?

it is not possible to play iso via usb or wifi yet for 3.02 cf irshell can be used to play homebrew also and xflash can be used for many things fonts, gameboots,intro startup sound etc.
