This doesnt happen every time but it does happen and it has me worried. Sometimes, when i play Gears, the game skips. Like a small shutter every now and then. Here is a graphical explanation (lol):
____________________/\/\________________/\/\_______________________/\/\

If ya get what i am saying. Why does it happen? Is it normal? Is my Xbox 360 dying out, cause i have not encountered any problems with my Xbox 360 except this one.

Thanks!

P.S- I am not sure if this happens with other games. As i dont play anything else other than Gears (too addictive!) and even if i do (which is rarely), the problem doesn occur.

Well it could be the game, it could be the xbox, mine does that aswell, i'm playing and it would jerk a little and i would get the loading sign at the bottom of the screen. I think its the dvd rom from the xbox, i would get some times disc dirty sign, and it would also do it on dead rising, not the jerking but that cant read disc sign( on that game).

1. clean your disk
2. it could be the game itself
3. it could be your e: drive on ure 360, i would advise u to try to clean it with a q-tip, or call xbox support

Horizontal, lying on a flat wood surface.

Use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn at 4x. That's your problem.

Yea Verbatim...i never knew where to find them in my region so i just got the Imation one and Gears being the first game ever, i was just too excited. Now i knw where to find it and will use that only.

I hope its the disc. Cause when it doesnt work then i can replace it with a Verbatim. Not sure if i can do the same with the Xbox 360, lol.

Oh and any special reason for burning it on 4x and not 2.4x? I burned Lost Planet on a Verb and its working fine. Any benefits of 4x?
