I have a PS2 SCPH-75001 and a Western Digital My Book. Will they work together? The only thing I am worried about is My Book turns off and ono when you turn off the computer. I am guessing it will still work with the PS2. Please help and explain how I would go about connecting the two.

Check MasterChu's guide on the beginning of the page, in one of those pages there is a link for an HD compatibility list. Also, your WD turns off because it's USB powered. And when the USB is not active, it will turn off because it doesn't get it's electricity. So it should work on the PS2, because it can also power the USB ports. For how to using a HDD, check MasterChu's guide.
