i have hdadvanced2.0 on a mc exploit as an elf file it will not let me put a backup ps2 disk on the hard drive but it will an original ps2 disk but i have hdadvanced3.0 original disk that when i boot with it it will allow me to install a ps2 backup to the hard drive, my question is how can i put 3.0 on a mc
hdadvance 2.0 will let you, you just have to do it right :-). Since your booting the mc exploit with a ps1 disc, your ps2 is expecting a ps1 disc when you put in your backup. So you need to load it up, then hit eject and insert an original ps2 game (dvd/cd depending on what kind of backup you want to load), hit install, then swap for your backup (at the step before it actually reads the disc to the hd).

This is what I tried
Load HDAdvanced
select Install
eject the ps1 keylauncher boot disk
insert an original ps2 disk
hit ok
HDAdvanced checks the disk and the screen to name the file pops up
When i open my flip top to swap the disk is still spinning (is this normal and do I have to swap it while spinning or should it stop at some time?)

Ok first I let hda load off the MC
I scroll to convert
I hit X
It comes up "Please Insert game disk'
I open the slide using the eject button
I take out my ps1 boot disk
I insert the original ps2 disk
I close the slide
The disk starts to spin
I click OK
it comes up "Checking Disk"
then swaps to the nameing screen
but the disk never stops
I just don't know what I'm doing wrong?
The only time thedisk stops is before I open the slide to take out my boot disk

Do yo know anything about getting a backup of splintercell 4
to run on hd
I got it installed but it won't finish loading after the splash screen?
