PSP Freezes after game is loaded

Hey guys whats up, i am new to this, i am using a psp with 3.02b firware and a 1 gb stick. Ive had this problem about about 5 times, the game shows up in the xmb and everything but when it starts loading it freezes and i have to manually restart it, if anyone can offer some help it would be greatly appreciated.

R you using UMD or No UMD mode? Gun needs a UMD.

having same problem.. Im betting someone is working on it as we speak! It seems to be a common problem right now.. ive posted a thread for the ones that i have got to work and the ones that i have not. please feel free to add to it.

no umd mode and also 50 cent bulletproof, by saying needs umd, you mean i have to insert a umd?

i had the same thing, figured out the problem. even though oe-b opens almost all games some require devhook. so in short a few games need devhook to start even on oe-b.

Disable NO-UMD Mode and put a UMD in the PSP.
It now should work.

you don't need devhook. Put a UMD in your PSP and make sure it is UMD mode and it should work.

if you dont have a umd in you need it in, and you do need devhook for a few games, I tried nfs mw and that wouldnt work umd in and it being a completely running iso, and on advise i used devhook and it worked. and ive heard that portable ops needs devhook also.

if you can find a guide on how to use the recovery file you can switch it to no-umd mode.

Hey I thought the reason for upgrading to 3.02OEb is because ,theres no need to put UMD and Dev hook,
seems like i still need to buy a UMD and install devhook into my new psp

so i tried the whole devhook thing and i had a new problem, the game file showed up as corrupt and it could'nt be started. I put the game in the iso folder as in with 3.02 and nothing came up, on 3.02 the game starts and even starts to load and then crashes, this was fighnt night round 3

Nah, you dont need to use DEV HOOK with portable Ops. It wasn't working for me, then I realized I hadn't tried running it with the UMD. After I inserted the UMD, it worked fine. I'm pretty stoked. The ps1 games are so rad.

HI GUYS,I HAVE PSP VERSION 1.5 AND I HAVE PROBLEM LOADING ISOs,I TRIED WITH UMD AND WITHOUT,BUT MOST OF THE ISOs FREEZES STRAITH AWAY,TRYED UMD LOADER,FAST LOADER,DEVHOOK AND DAXLOADER ,THERE WAS JUST FEW ISOs WICH I MANAGED TO START,ANY IDEAS WHAT I AM DOING WRONG?
