Hi i bought a psp 2.6 with mobo IC6001 (which is t-082?). I know there is no downgrader for 1.6 but i am wondering if i could upgrade to 2.71 then use it to downgrade to 1.5 or doesnt it work that way?

Sorry where i said 1.6 i meant 2.6 for the second time. typo :(
anyway, so can i use the auto update to get to 2.71 or will it take
me to the latest higher version from that?
