Hi, i'm new to Afterdawn and this is my first post here, i was browsing this site and i saw how nice the people here seemed so i decided to make an account to resolve this problem is have with copying DVDs and to be able to help others in exchange.
I've always been using DVD Shrink to copy DVDs but since a few days ago, it crashes, causing my PC to shut down while in the middle of the copying process. I tried deleting file in order to have more space on my hard disk but the same thing keeeps on happening.
So i decided to put DVDShrink away and try another program to burn my DVDs.
Alcohol 120%, DVD Decrypter & Nero said that the image was close to 8 GBs so it said that it couldnt be copied into a 4.7 GB normal blank DVD.
Is there any way to compress the 'Image' so that it fits on my 4.7 GB disk ?
I need hap ASAP because my parents really want me to backup 4 DVDs by tomorrow.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hi you have two options you can use DVD Shrink and take off all the unwanted bits and just leave the main film, or use a dual layer dvd, hope this helps
I use Recode 2 as part of the Nero program to compress after ripping with DvdFabDecrypter or I use Shrink as part of RipIt4Me. I like the Shrink version that burns with Imgburn...
