Audio off when using TMPGEnc DVD Author

I used my Winfast TV Tuner to record TV shows in MPEG2 format. When I play the files using Real Player the audio is right on the whole way through the show. When I use TMPGEnc to encode and put the movie on DVD the audio is fine for the first 5 minutes then it becomes about 1-2 seconds ahead of the video. How can I fix this- or should I use another program to put these on DVD? Thanks

Try aligning the sound with the video in Virtual Dub. However, if the sound gets progressively more out of sync, there aint much you can do about it.
