HELP... I FIRST WANT TO APOLOGISE IF I REPEATING CONCERNING THE TOPIC. I WANT TO KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO COMPRESS A 6 TO 8 HOURS OF VHS TAPE TO A 700MB CDR OR IF NOT TO A SINGLE DVDR. I HAVE NOTICED THAT 1 HOUR OF TAPE USING MY ATI RADEON 7500 TV TUNER TAKES UP TO ABOUT 3 GIGS OF MY HARDDRIVE, I AM NEW AT THIS , AND I WILL TRULY APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK AND INSTRUCTIONS . THANKS

I`m probably not the right person to tell you how, but I can tell you that its possible to shrink it as much as you`d like. It all comes down to what quality you will accept. But I think you would get good quality if you convert your VHS into VCD and put it on a DVD. The VCD can be played directly on some DVD`s.
