Forget the fact that its a mad thing to want to do - But,

Can you encode a document to a dvd.
What I mean is can you take a pdf, word doc or even a plain text file and from that create a DVD - With a video_ts folder and IFO files and Vobs etc - So that the document could be viewed on a dvd player ?

EG: By creating a Slide show, or maybe displaying seperate pages of text as seperate chapters - or by creating a set of dvd menus that displayed a document.

Imagine I had a portable DVD player and as many discs as I wanted, and I wanted to listen to MP3s (No Problem), Watch Movies (No Problem) but I also wanted to read a manual or book that was a word document or a pdf ?

can This be done and how would you approach the task ?
Nb:- A dvd player isnt the best tool for the job, but can it be done ?

In fact, what about putting a cbt or 'web site' into the dvd menu - So you could navigate around bits of content, video - text and audio ?
