Video Capture Hardware For HP Slimline PC?

Here's the delemma, I have an HP Slimline s7600n ( it's about 1/3 the size of a standard pc ). I knew it wouldn't be easy to upgrade, but for capturing video I just thought I'd use usb 2.0 or firewire.

I really want to capture to uncompressed avi(or huffyuv) so that I can encode each capture into various different formats later. The big plan is to remove the tiny 56k modem and replace it with a pci capture card. From what I can gather on the web, they make a few "low profile" pci cards that will fit into the pint-sized case without modification. So my question is...should I try to go the pci route?...or are there any good usb cards that will allow uncompressed analog capture? Every usb capture card I can find appears to be junk. Software isn't an issue because I plan to use VirtualDub anyway. Thanks!
