Ok I got a .nrg image file of mgs 2 off of a torrent.The file was 5.99 Gb which is consistent with the NTSC release of MGS2.So I burn it with DVD Decrypter (which also verifies the the iso is 5.99 gb) on to a DL DVD-R. I pop it in the my ps2 and bam nothing happens black screen.So I put the disc in my dvd drive and it's only registering 2.2 gb.I find that kind of weird so i mount the original image (which has a filesize of 5.99gb)with Daemon Tools and once again 2.2gb.I burned it on a Ritek dl DVD-R so bad media is out of the question. My ps2 has played a zillion backup games so that's out of the question.The only thing i can think of is that it's a bad .nrg file.Anyone agreee?I really don't want to give it up since it took a month of downloading on utorrent!

can your ps2 modchip boot DVD-9 backups?
remember only a few can,and some need the image to be patched first
