Hi My problem is this>>i am using dvdshrink 2.3 to burn back up dvd's everything goes to plan untill the select drive to burn to option at the end.it does not recognise my dvd burner when i insert a blank dvd+r disk but does recognise it when the drive is empty has anyone else had these problems or is it perhaps the way my hardaware is configured..thank you in advance..

Well you can copy the produced file into a folder labeled VIDEO_TS and burn with Nero, Roxio, ete. As long as it does the compression successful for you, ie the files will fit a single DVD, then try an other burning engine. That is one possible solution, that should avoid some hair pulling.

You don't select any drive after DVD Shrink has finished its job. You then have to go to Nero or other burning rom and drag and drop the files there and burn.
