Hi all, Does anyone know if its planned or possible that in a future version of xtreme firmware, you would be able to bypass region protection and play non region free games?I wanna play NCAA Football on my PAL console, obviously lousy EA games arent region free...Anyone heard of any plans to bypass region protection?

i dont think there are plans of this. The main purpose is to backup local regioned games and play them perfectly.

try to obtian a copy of NTSC version of that game. its pretty easy

But he has a PAL machine, therefore he'd get the region error.

Yeah I can get a NTSC copy. Just all EA games are region locked and they dont put out a NCAA football in Europe. Is the region protection something that firmware could bypass or is it a hardware thing?Am not too up on that side of the 360.
