I have a new psp v2.71. No hacks. The menu is now gray scale only, seems to have happened after a game of Socom. I checked system settings and even did a system factory setting restore. Games, movies play in color, it's only the menu. Any ideas. Thanks.

maybe your background is sat to that color. Go to your background setting in the setting.

it happens because the psp was designed to do this every month it changes color.

yep it changes colour every month and it's normal if u don't want it to change every month go to settings -> theme settings -> theme and choose the one u want. or choose original to allow it to change every month. Don't worry u sounded very worry this is normal and it won't break your psp.
