does anyone know if its possible to make the ps2 turn on and off and reset with a remote. i have a v4 ps2.

i got the dvd kit but it doesnt work right.

on the xbox there was a way but it would be cool to have a remote for the ps2.

i want to be able to turn it on, off, reset.

thanks for any ideas or advice.

Umm...how about you make some little remote control prongs that sit over each button, and if you wanna reset you press the green button you make on your remote, eject blue! It sounds a bit far-fetched, but you never know...it could work...:P

they make make other versions of a universal remote that may work. Propblem is that your PS2 is an old version and most do not tell
you which versions it will work with.
