quick OE-A / OE-B question

just installed 3.02 OE-A and works like a charm but have a couple of questions...

firstly, i have downloaded the RECOVERY folder from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?6zzikukzmzd and placed it in PSP/GAME and my PSP recognizes this as corrupted data - is this normal?

secondly, if i upgrade to 3.02 OE-B will i still be able to use the RECOVERY function?
