I ordered a matrix infinity for my ps2 v15 scph-77001a. I was wondering if it will work properly with my ps2 because i had a duo3 and it said that it's compatible with ps2 v15 but the chip was very unstable. Some games boot some go to the sony red screen. I think i haven't ordered a matrix infinity clone because i ordered it from mod-chip.com and they seem very reliable.

I believe Duo chips are clones, or at least a "lesser" brand - so the instability doesn't surprise me. For your system, a MI chip will be fine. I've installed one in the new silver PS2's and it worked great.

I've done all of my ordering from mod-chip.com and have never had an issue, even when I had to send faulty chips in for replacement.
