The story so far:
*First, I burnt Gears of War using CloneCD 5.2.9.1, no boot at all. (Open Tray)
*Then i used the latest DVD Decrypter (3.5.4.0) to burn Lost Planet, and I input the layer break in manually. The game worked once but never again.
*Then i used DVD Decrypter again to burn Ghost Recon, no boot at all this time.
*Finally, today i used ImgBurn (2.1.0.0) to burn Gears of War again, i also input layer break manually, this time it booted once, but never again.
The facts:
I'm sure my games are not corrupted and are patched.
I'm using a BenQ DVD Writer, and Sony DVD+R DL dvds.
My xbox 360 has the Samsung drive. it's Asian. I bought it with the xtreme firmware pre-installed. However, i don't know wat version it is.
My questions are:
Why do my games work only once if at all?
I can get Verbatim DVD+R DL dvds, but what i cannot get is the pioneer 111D writer. no shop around sells that dvd-writer, and i can't order things online. However, i can get the Sony DRU-810A, how is that?
I can vouch for the Sony DRU-810a. I have that myself and use Verbatim DVD+R DL, burning at 4x and haven't had a single coaster ever. No ps2 costers, no 360 coasters.
