I have Hdloader 8.0a How do I determine if it is 48bit? I just got a 200gb HD. Help would be appreciated.

Never mind my first post

I just replaced my 30gb Maxtor, with a 200gb Maxtor. I used Winhip. I transfered my games over. Set it to 48bit. Now I boot my ps2, it boots the elf to start HD loader, except when it is loading all the files in white text it seems to get stuck when I assume it booting my 200gb Maxtor Hd, because I can hear the HD seeking inside my ps2.

Do I need to update my Elf? it is version 0.31.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I upgraded to ps2menu 2.6b and I am still having the same problem, it just hangs. but this time it is hanging on loading file : ps2netfs.ir
I can still hear it doing something with my HDD, but it is just sitting there...

Winhip won't allow me to change the HD to 24bit. It is stuck at 48bit for some reason. Someone have any suggestions? Ps2Menu < LaunchELF?

Use a different launcher, also consider using HDLoader .8b
