I have an older hd 55" tv that supports 1080i but not 720p. I have the ps3 hokke up via component cables. in the display settings i have 480p and 1080i checked off. When i play 720 games like resistance it downscales to 480p, which is expected. But when I play call of duty 3 it also downscales, this is a 1080 game shouldn't it display at 1080?

call of duty 1080 is a misprint. only plays up to 720p

we should sue their ass' for false advertisement! I thought it was in 1080p also!
