Go to the system blade and then select memory. Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

i didnt try the maintenace but i typed it in an the message came up but from what ive heard this willl undo any m$ updates and slow gaming ******FROM WHAT I HEARD**************

no if you want to play any game via Xlink or XBC you can play preupdate, it works for slow loading problems on games with extensive menu loading issues
