Hello, is it possible? I can't connect to playstation network, but i want to play tekken so much! Could anyone who has tekken5 on playstation3 upload it, for exp. to rapidshare or megaupload, is it possible?

I just posted about this in another forum, minutes ago.
I was informed that Tekken 5 on the PS3 is an Arcade port (I didn't know), and that it is available from the playstation store for about $17. However, I was informed at the same time that it is currently only available from the Playstation Store of Hong Kong/Japan.
The informant was kind enough to share with me that there are ways to access this store, and I'm about to look for such a way. If I find something good, I'll be back to share. ^^

it works as i have done it 3 days ago... anyone using law? had a question about his b+2,3,4 dss 3. i can 100% do it on tekken 5 and tekken dr for PSP but for some reason..tekken 5 dr for ps3 whiffs sometimes..or should i say only does the dragon fake step..the last forward seems to be off ...anyone else? or maybe its just me...

I read further in, and it would appear as if you can't register a foreign credit card.
This means that although you can access their store, you can only download the free content, and as Tekken is not free, all of the information I've submitted here is pretty irrelevent. ^^;

you will have to make a hong kong acc, just create a new master user, and instead of usa, choose hong kong, ESPECIALLY when u enter your credit card info....leave it as hong kong...make a fake address whatever ... but make sure u put in the right credit card # n exp. date n such..itll charge u nonetheless, just think of it as, going to hong kong n using it to pay for tekken, just like using ur cc in a diff country is all...check www.gamefaqs.com ps3 section under tekken dr, thats the one i followed

Oh, excellent.
Since you've done this, could you tell me: is the game in english, or only available in japanese? (I don't know any japanese, and can't read it, so this would make the purchase a questionable move.)

The point I was trying to make in my first response, which I didn't make at all somehow (I tend to go offtopic alot) is that because you have to pay for it, I don't know how much of a response you'll get as far as an upload.
And that's where I went off topic, sorry^^;

YES it is possible i am playing tekken 5 on my ps3 via HDD. the game is in japanese/english. the modes are written in english such as arcade mode, ghost mode, options,etc. the only japanese are when the subtitles go on, they speak in english, asnd the ranking are in japanese ie, kyu, 1st dan all the way thru tekken lord. it is 80% in english so u would no have any trouble at all playing it. words are in english n the japanese stuff really are just redundant. hope this helps, ill put up screen shots when i can...

That helps ALOT. I've been asking the english question everywhere lol, thanks for giving me an answer (and a good one at that). I'm gonna buy it right away.
Screenshots are always a welcome addition to a gaming thread, as far as I'm concerned, but I've been watching trailers and gameplay videos on gametrailers.com, so I know what I'm in for^^

I can't get the credit card to work. I know that the # is correct, the exp. date is correct, the security code is correct.
For the billing address, I entered it exactly the same as the fake HK address I entered when I made the account (and it's a Master Account).
For now, I give up. I've tried changing a bunch of things around, but I can't get the CC to work.

OK... here's the deal..to zem, there is not ISO, you have to get it from Hong Kong PS Store, there is no way yet. and to Pangy, you might have to authorize your credit card to be able to buy this from hong kong, call the cc company and tell them ur going to hk n will buy stuff there... heres EXACTLY what I did..
"If you can't wait for the US release, you can download the Japanese/HK version right now! It's almost all in English, including the voices!
Here's how to do it.
1. Create a new log in on your PS3 system.
2. Sign up for the PS Network
3. Fill in all information accordingly, choose Hong Kong as your country.
4. Under the street address put in a random number and street name. Also enter a random region.
5. Enter in your credit card info, make sure this is accurate! Make the billing info the same as your random HK address.
6. Once you finish setting up your account, go back to the Account Management and add funds to your wallet. You need to add 40 HKD twice to give you a total of 80 HKD. This is because for some odd reason when authorizing the credit cards, it won't complete the transaction when authorizing 80HKD or more at a time (Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection is 125HKD). After you have 80 HKD, exit the account management and go into the PlayStation Store.
7. Select Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection. It will ask you to confirm and aftwards show that there is a remaining balance owed of 45HKD. Authorize the transaction for the remaining balance and you're done!
In some rare cases, a few people have had some problems. If your card doesn't work, try another one. Or you may have to contact your credit card company to authorize the transaction, but there seems to be only a few people who have had to do this.
Don't delete the new account (log in) that you created, or you will lose the download. You don't have to play using the new account however, you'll be able to use your main one to play Dark Resurrection. (www.gamefaqs.com compliments of Heavy Liquid)"

I hadn't even "activated" my HK account, so I did that just now. It unfortunately made no difference, and now I get a message "You have exceeded the limit of submitting invalid credit card information, please contact customer service."
Honestly, this has been nothing but a headache, and I'm thinking the game isn't worth it. I'll wait and see if they release it to North America, and if not, maybe I'll try customer service in a week or two.
Thanks for the info, but making a phone call is going a little far for me. I don't want to lie to the CC company about a trip especially, when I think it's probably something I'm doing wrong.

right has any one tryed the false adderss for billing of the credit card as in the last post???? surly the billing adderss has to be the same as on the card!!! if any one has tryed the randem adderss for credit card billing, plz drop a post to let us no.. thanks...;-)

well i tryed it early this morning , and no joy it just would not let me do it. iam using a visa debit card, and for it all to work the billing adderss has to be the same as on the card ;-( ohhshiet wot sort of card did you do it with???? any idears would be great

i did it with a credit card..and it worked the first time..i just did exactly what i did on my previous posts..they mightve changed it i dont know..
