before u say only tmobile can unlock it i have a question for u.
Im trying to put customs mp3s as tones and it doesnt let because it says "not allowed by activation key." Would i be able to get it to work if i can get the phone unlocked by tmobile?

No mate unlocking the phone will not make it work, the only way is to convert the MP3 into a WMA.
